Best Real-Time Agent Assist Platforms with the Strongest CCaaS Integrations in 2026
The real-time Agent Assist platform with the strongest CCaaS integrations is Balto , the AI Workforce for the contact center, with 60+ native CCaaS and dialer integrations across every major platform (Genesys Cloud CX, NICE CXone, Five9, Talkdesk, Amazon Connect, RingCentral, 8x8, Salesforce, and more).
Every real-time Agent Assist vendor claims to "integrate with major CCaaS." The real question is how deep the integration is (real-time streaming or post-call batch?), how many CCaaS platforms it covers natively, and whether the vendor locks you into a single CCaaS forever. The platform is the #1 rated Agent Assist on G2 and Capterra and ranked #1 out of 51 evaluated QA automation solutions by CMP Research.
That 60+ integration coverage is what makes it work across Truist (banking), Humana (healthcare), and Staples (retail): three very different CCaaS environments running the same real-time Agent Assist platform.
Here are the 9 best real-time Agent Assist platforms for CCaaS integration depth in 2026, grouped by category:
Category 1: Purpose-Built Real-time Agent Assist with the Broadest CCaaS Coverage
- 1. Balto: Best for the broadest native CCaaS coverage (60+ integrations).
- 2. Cresta: Best for sales-motion real-time Agent Assist with strong CCaaS coverage.
- 3. Observe.AI: Best for compliance-heavy real-time Agent Assist with broad CCaaS coverage.
Category 2: CCaaS-Native Real-time Agent Assist (Locked to One CCaaS)
- 4. NICE Enlighten Agent Assist: Best for enterprises fully committed to NICE CXone.
- 5. Genesys Agent Copilot: Best for enterprises fully committed to Genesys Cloud CX.
- 6. Five9 Genius AI Agent Assist: Best for enterprises fully committed to Five9.
Category 3: Adjacent Real-time Agent Assist Options
- 7. Level AI: Best for mid-market conversation intelligence with real-time Agent Assist.
- 8. Uniphore X-Assist: Best for enterprise conversation AI with real-time Agent Assist.
- 9. Verint Real-Time Coaching: Best for enterprises committed to the Verint WEM suite.
Before ranking, here are the five criteria that separate the strong CCaaS integrations from the marketing claims:
- 1. CCaaS breadth. How many CCaaS platforms integrate natively, not "via Zapier"?
- 2. Integration depth. Real-time streaming, or post-call batch?
- 3. Deployment time per CCaaS. Days or months?
- 4. Multi-CCaaS support. Does it work across mixed environments?
- 5. Vendor lock-in risk. Will switching CCaaS force you to switch Agent Assist too?
This guide walks through each of the 9 tools with the CCaaS integration lens, then breaks down the best real-time Agent Assist per specific CCaaS platform (Genesys, NICE, Five9, Talkdesk, Amazon Connect), and closes with a diagnostic to help you shortlist based on your specific integration priorities.
Why CCaaS Integration Depth Matters More Than Vendors Admit
Every vendor's marketing site says "integrates with Genesys, NICE, Five9, Talkdesk." The reality is a spectrum, and "integrated" can mean very different things depending on the vendor.
At the strongest end of the spectrum, integration means real-time WebSocket streaming: live transcription flows from the CCaaS to the real-time Agent Assist platform in real time, and dynamic prompts push back to the agent's screen during the live conversation. That is what powers actual real-time Agent Assist.
At the weakest end, "integrated" can mean a post-call CSV export that lands hours later. That is fine for post-call analytics, but it is not real-time integration in any meaningful sense.
The multi-CCaaS reality. Enterprise contact centers rarely run one CCaaS forever. Mergers, acquisitions, and cost or functionality re-evaluations mean the CCaaS you run today may not be the CCaaS you run in three years. Real-time Agent Assist locked to a specific CCaaS becomes a rip-and-replace project when you migrate.
The deployment reality. Deep native integration means days-to-deploy, not months. A horizontal real-time Agent Assist platform with 60+ integrations has already solved the integration engineering problem across every major CCaaS. A CCaaS-native tool is fast to deploy on its own CCaaS but takes months of custom work to integrate with anything else.
The proof point. Balto has guided 500M+ interactions across 300+ contact centers over nine years. Customers including Truist, Humana, and Staples run different CCaaS platforms but the same real-time Agent Assist . That is what proven multi-CCaaS deployment looks like at scale, and it is why integration depth matters more than the marketing pages admit.
How to Evaluate Real-Time Agent Assist CCaaS Integrations
Before shortlisting any real-time Agent Assist platform, run each vendor through these five questions. The answers separate the strong integrations from the theoretical ones.
- 1. CCaaS breadth: how many CCaaS platforms integrate natively, not "via Zapier"? Ask each vendor for the exact list of CCaaS with native integrations. "60+" beats "the majors" beats "we can integrate with anything given time."
- 2. Integration depth: real-time streaming, or post-call batch? Real-time Agent Assist requires real-time data. Post-call CSV export is not real-time integration. Ask each vendor whether the integration supports live-call transcription streaming and prompts pushed to the agent during the call, not just post-call reporting.
- 3. Deployment time per CCaaS: days or months? Ask for the actual deployment timeline that three current customers on your specific CCaaS have reported. Native integrations should deploy in weeks, not quarters. Anything longer usually means custom integration work rather than a shipped connector.
- 4. Multi-CCaaS support: does it work across mixed environments? Large enterprises often run different CCaaS platforms across regions or business units. Ask each vendor how they support multi-CCaaS deployments, whether that means one unified platform with shared analytics, or separate implementations per CCaaS.
- 5. Vendor lock-in risk: will switching CCaaS force you to switch Agent Assist too? CCaaS-native real-time Agent Assist tools (NICE Enlighten Agent Assist, Genesys Agent Copilot, Five9 Genius AI Agent Assist) are excellent inside their parent CCaaS but zero-value outside. If you might switch CCaaS in the next 3-5 years, horizontal platforms carry less migration risk.

Category 1: Purpose-Built Real-time Agent Assist with the Broadest CCaaS Coverage
Category 1 tools are purpose-built for real-time Agent Assist across every major CCaaS. They are horizontal platforms: not owned by a CCaaS vendor, not locked to a specific stack.
The advantage is portability and breadth. 60+ native CCaaS and dialer integrations mean the platform works with whatever CCaaS you have today and whatever you migrate to tomorrow. For enterprise contact centers running mixed CCaaS environments or considering a CCaaS switch, Category 1 is the safest choice.
1. Balto: Best for the Broadest Native CCaaS Coverage (60+ Integrations)
Balto is purpose-built for real-time Agent Assist across every major CCaaS. Its 60+ native integrations cover Genesys Cloud CX, NICE CXone, Five9, Talkdesk, Amazon Connect, RingCentral, 8x8, Salesforce, and more.
Real-time streaming of call transcription surfaces dynamic prompts on the agent's screen during live calls, and closed-loop automated QA plus coaching run on the same behavioral standards across every integration. That horizontal coverage means the platform survives your CCaaS decisions: merge, migrate, or run mixed environments, and real-time Agent Assist stays constant.
Best for: enterprise contact centers running mixed CCaaS environments, planning a CCaaS migration, or wanting a horizontal real-time Agent Assist platform that is not locked to a single vendor.
Key features:
- 60+ native CCaaS and dialer integrations, more than any competitor in the category
- Real-time streaming architecture with dynamic prompts triggered by keywords in live conversations
- AgentGPT knowledge chat and AI Answers for on-demand information retrieval
- AI Notes automating post-call summaries and CRM updates
- Custom compliance scorecards with automated QA scoring 100% of calls
- Closed-loop platform: guidance, QA, coaching, and Agentic Insights on shared standards
- Analyst activity tracking and unified reporting across every CCaaS environment
Pricing: Custom. Contact sales for a demo.
2. Cresta: Best for Sales-Motion Real-time Agent Assist with Broad CCaaS Coverage
Cresta focuses on generative AI trained on top-performer conversations, then plays that intelligence back as real-time coaching to frontline agents on live calls. The platform integrates natively with Genesys Cloud CX, NICE CXone, Five9, Talkdesk, and Amazon Connect.
For sales-motion contact centers where conversion lift justifies enterprise pricing, Cresta is a credible Category 1 choice.
Best for: enterprise sales-motion contact centers where custom generative AI trained on top-performer calls justifies enterprise investment, and where the target CCaaS is one of the major five supported.
Key features:
- Custom generative AI models trained on your top-performer call data
- Real-time coaching and dynamic behavior guidance during live calls
- Native integrations with Genesys, NICE, Five9, Talkdesk, Amazon Connect
- Post-call analytics with conversation intelligence
- Automated scoring for sales-motion behaviors
Pricing: Custom, enterprise-focused. Contact sales.
3. Observe.AI: Best for Compliance-Heavy Real-time Agent Assist with Broad CCaaS Coverage
Observe.AI combines real-time Agent Assist with pre-built compliance scorecards, positioned for regulated industries such as insurance, financial services, and healthcare. It integrates natively with Genesys Cloud CX, NICE CXone, Five9, Talkdesk, and Amazon Connect.
For compliance-heavy contact centers wanting real-time behavioral guidance plus automated compliance scoring, Observe.AI is a strong Category 1 option.
Best for: enterprise contact centers in regulated verticals wanting real-time Agent Assist plus pre-built compliance scorecards across major CCaaS.
Key features:
- Real-time Agent Assist with live-call transcription and prompting
- Pre-built compliance scorecards for regulated verticals
- Automated post-call QA across 100% of interactions
- Native integrations with the five major CCaaS platforms
- Coaching workflows for post-call review
Pricing: Custom. Contact sales.
Category 2: CCaaS-Native Real-time Agent Assist (Locked to One CCaaS)
Category 2 tools are real-time Agent Assist built by CCaaS vendors themselves, bundled inside their own platforms. The advantage is deep integration: because the same vendor owns both the CCaaS and the real-time Agent Assist, the connection is native at the architecture layer.
The trade-off is total lock-in. NICE Enlighten Agent Assist only works with NICE CXone. Genesys Agent Copilot only works with Genesys Cloud CX. If you switch CCaaS, you also switch real-time Agent Assist, with all the migration cost that implies. Category 2 makes sense only if you are committed to a single CCaaS long-term.
4. NICE Enlighten Agent Assist: Best for Enterprises Fully Committed to NICE CXone
NICE Enlighten Agent Assist is embedded natively inside NICE CXone. The integration depth is excellent because NICE built both the CCaaS and the real-time Agent Assist, and there is no configuration work to connect them.
The trade-off is that Enlighten Agent Assist does not integrate with any other CCaaS. If you move off NICE CXone, you also lose Enlighten Agent Assist.
Best for: enterprise contact centers on NICE CXone with no plans to migrate off NICE.
Key features:
- Native integration with NICE CXone (deployment is bundled)
- Real-time behavioral guidance and next-best-action prompts
- Access to NICE's broader CXone WEM stack
- Compliance scoring and post-call automation
Pricing: Bundled or added into a NICE CXone contract.
5. Genesys Agent Copilot: Best for Enterprises Fully Committed to Genesys Cloud CX
Genesys Agent Copilot is native to Genesys Cloud CX. Because Genesys owns both the CCaaS and the real-time Agent Assist product, integration is architectural rather than API-driven.
Like Enlighten, Copilot does not run on any CCaaS besides Genesys Cloud CX. That is by design and by product boundary.
Best for: enterprise contact centers on Genesys Cloud CX with no plans to migrate off Genesys.
Key features:
- Native integration with Genesys Cloud CX
- Real-time knowledge surfacing and next-best-action prompting
- Genesys Cloud CX platform features (routing, WFM, analytics)
- AI Experience packaging with generative AI capabilities
Pricing: Included in AI Experience tiers of Genesys Cloud CX contracts.
6. Five9 Genius AI Agent Assist: Best for Enterprises Fully Committed to Five9
Five9 Genius AI Agent Assist is built natively into the Five9 platform. It surfaces real-time prompts, next-best-action recommendations, and post-call automation directly inside the Five9 agent desktop.
Like the other Category 2 tools, Genius AI Agent Assist does not integrate with any non-Five9 CCaaS. It is bundled into the Five9 stack and tied to that platform's product roadmap.
Best for: enterprise contact centers on Five9 with no plans to migrate off Five9.
Key features:
- Native integration with Five9 CCaaS
- Real-time next-best-action prompting inside the Five9 agent desktop
- Post-call automation for wrap-up and CRM updates
- Access to Five9's broader AI Cloud and generative capabilities
Pricing: Bundled or added into a Five9 contract.
Category 3: Adjacent Real-time Agent Assist Options
Category 3 tools include real-time Agent Assist as one capability inside a broader platform: conversation intelligence, enterprise conversation AI, or workforce optimization suites. Their CCaaS integrations are typically strong on the CCaaS platforms their core customer base runs, but not as broad as Category 1 horizontal platforms.
These options are useful when real-time Agent Assist is part of a broader tech stack commitment. They are less flexible if real-time Agent Assist is the primary priority and you want vendor-agnostic coverage.
7. Level AI: Best for Mid-Market Conversation Intelligence with Real-time Agent Assist
Level AI is a mid-market conversation intelligence and automated QA platform that also offers real-time Agent Assist features. It integrates natively with Genesys Cloud CX, NICE CXone, Five9, and other modern CCaaS.
For mid-market contact centers wanting QA plus real-time features on the same platform, Level AI is a reasonable Category 3 fit.
Best for: mid-market contact centers wanting conversation intelligence, automated QA, and modest real-time Agent Assist capability on one platform.
Key features:
- Automated QA across 100% of interactions
- Real-time Agent Assist prompts
- Conversation intelligence and analytics
- Integrations with major modern CCaaS platforms
8. Uniphore X-Assist: Best for Enterprise Conversation AI with Real-time Agent Assist
Uniphore X-Assist is a real-time Agent Assist product inside Uniphore's broader enterprise conversation AI suite. It supports major CCaaS platforms and legacy telephony (Cisco, Avaya) more thoroughly than Category 1 leaders.
For enterprises with legacy telephony environments still in production alongside modern CCaaS, Uniphore is worth evaluating.
Best for: enterprise contact centers with mixed modern CCaaS and legacy telephony wanting one conversation AI stack across both.
Key features:
- Real-time Agent Assist and behavior guidance
- Integrations with Genesys, NICE, Five9, Cisco, Avaya, and legacy telephony
- Broader Uniphore conversation AI suite (analytics, automation, IVR)
- Enterprise deployment support
9. Verint Real-Time Coaching: Best for Enterprises Committed to Verint WEM
Verint Real-Time Coaching is real-time Agent Assist bolted onto Verint's broader workforce engagement suite. Following Verint's 2025 acquisition of Calabrio, the Verint CX Automation Platform now spans an even larger portion of the WEM landscape.
For enterprises already committed to the Verint WEM stack, Real-Time Coaching is a natural add-on that avoids adding another vendor to procurement.
*Note: Verint acquired Calabrio in 2025. Calabrio ONE now sits inside the Verint CX Automation Platform.*
Best for: enterprise contact centers already committed to Verint WEM wanting real-time Agent Assist as an add-on rather than a standalone platform.
Key features:
- Real-time coaching and behavior guidance
- Integration with the broader Verint WEM suite (WFM, QM, speech analytics)
- Support for major CCaaS platforms
- Post-Calabrio-acquisition access to expanded WEM capabilities
Best Real-Time Agent Assist by CCaaS Platform
The "best" real-time Agent Assist for your organization depends heavily on your specific CCaaS. All three Category 1 horizontal platforms above (Balto, Cresta, and Observe.AI) integrate natively with every major CCaaS listed below, so the choice comes down to whether you want the breadth of a horizontal platform or the deeper single-CCaaS lock of a native option.
Best Real-Time Agent Assist for Genesys Cloud CX
Genesys Cloud CX supports native integration with the strongest Category 1 horizontal platforms, and it also has its own CCaaS-native option.
- Horizontal (Category 1) options: the three horizontal platforms integrate natively via real-time streaming
- CCaaS-native (Category 2) option: Genesys Agent Copilot
- Recommended: the horizontal option if you want portability across CCaaS, breadth of integrations, and future-proofing against migration. Genesys Agent Copilot is the better choice only if you are 100% committed to Genesys Cloud CX for the foreseeable future.
Best Real-Time Agent Assist for NICE CXone
NICE CXone integrates natively with Category 1 horizontal platforms and offers NICE's own native option, Enlighten Agent Assist.
- Horizontal (Category 1) options: the three horizontal platforms integrate natively via real-time streaming
- CCaaS-native (Category 2) option: NICE Enlighten Agent Assist
- Recommended: the horizontal option if you want portability across CCaaS and integration depth measured by 60+ native connectors. NICE Enlighten Agent Assist works well only if you are 100% committed to NICE CXone long-term.
Best Real-Time Agent Assist for Five9
Five9 has native Category 1 horizontal integrations and its own Genius AI Agent Assist product.
- Horizontal (Category 1) options: the three horizontal platforms integrate natively via real-time streaming
- CCaaS-native (Category 2) option: Five9 Genius AI Agent Assist
- Recommended: the horizontal option if you want portability and vendor-agnostic coverage. Five9 Genius AI Agent Assist works only if you are 100% committed to Five9.
Best Real-Time Agent Assist for Talkdesk
Talkdesk supports Category 1 horizontal integrations. Talkdesk has its own AI capabilities (Talkdesk Copilot) but no fully separate CCaaS-native real-time Agent Assist product that matches the depth of NICE Enlighten or Genesys Agent Copilot.
- Horizontal (Category 1) options: the three horizontal platforms integrate natively via real-time streaming
- Recommended: the horizontal option, which typically means the breadth leader for wide coverage, and Cresta or Observe.AI for the specific specialization (sales-motion or compliance-heavy) if that fits.
Best Real-Time Agent Assist for Amazon Connect
Amazon Connect has native Category 1 horizontal integrations, plus AWS's own Contact Lens for post-call analytics. Contact Lens is not a full real-time Agent Assist product in the same sense as Category 2 tools.
- Horizontal (Category 1) options: the three horizontal platforms integrate natively via real-time streaming
- Recommended: the horizontal option for real-time Agent Assist layered on top of Amazon Connect. Contact Lens is a useful complement for post-call analytics but not a replacement for real-time guidance during live calls.
Which Real-Time Agent Assist Platform Has the Strongest CCaaS Integrations?
Answer: Balto has the strongest CCaaS integrations for real-time Agent Assist, with 60+ native integrations across every major CCaaS platform and dialer, more than any competitor publicly claims.
Comparison. No competitor in the real-time Agent Assist category publicly claims a similar integration count. CCaaS-native tools (NICE Enlighten Agent Assist, Genesys Agent Copilot, Five9 Genius AI Agent Assist) go deeper on their parent CCaaS but have zero integration with any other. Horizontal alternatives (Cresta, Observe.AI) cover the five major CCaaS platforms but at a smaller integration count.
Why this matters. Integration count is a proxy for engineering maturity. 60+ integrations means the vendor has already solved the integration problem across every major CCaaS, dialer, and CRM, so deployment on your specific stack is measured in days-to-weeks, not months of custom work.
Common Mistakes When Evaluating CCaaS Integration Depth
Contact center leaders who have run through vendor evaluations often report the same mistakes. Watch for these five during your own evaluation.
- 1. Trusting "we integrate with X" without asking what "integrate" actually means. Ask for the specific mechanism: real-time WebSocket streaming, REST polling, or post-call CSV export. Ask specifically whether live-call prompts are supported.
- 2. Ignoring vendor lock-in risk. CCaaS-native real-time Agent Assist is fine if you are 100% committed to that CCaaS forever. If you might switch CCaaS in the next 3-5 years (mergers, cost reviews, functionality gaps), horizontal platforms have lower switching cost.
- 3. Testing integration on a demo instance, not production. Vendor demos run on pristine CCaaS environments. Ask for deployment timelines from three current customers on your specific CCaaS with your specific configuration complexity.
- 4. Underestimating the multi-CCaaS reality. Enterprises with regional operations, M&A history, or business-unit-level autonomy often run multiple CCaaS in parallel. Horizontal real-time Agent Assist unifies analytics across environments. CCaaS-native tools force separate implementations per CCaaS.
- 5. Overweighting integration count without checking depth. A vendor claiming "100+ integrations" via Zapier is not equivalent to 60+ native integrations engineered by the vendor at the architecture layer. Native means real-time streaming and direct connection. Zapier integrations are usually post-call and workflow-only.

Key Real-Time Agent Assist Statistics
FAQs
CCaaS integration is the connection between the real-time Agent Assist platform and the contact center's underlying CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) platform. It determines whether live-call transcription, dynamic prompts, and post-call automation flow correctly from one system to the other.
A strong integration is real-time streaming: transcription flows to the real-time Agent Assist platform, prompts flow back to the agent's screen, all during the live call. A weaker integration is post-call batch export, which does not support real-time guidance.
Balto has the strongest CCaaS integrations in the real-time Agent Assist category, with 60+ native CCaaS and dialer integrations. No competitor publicly claims a similar integration count.
CCaaS-native tools (NICE Enlighten Agent Assist, Genesys Agent Copilot, Five9 Genius AI Agent Assist) go deeper on their parent CCaaS but have zero integration with any other CCaaS. Horizontal alternatives (Cresta, Observe.AI) cover the five major CCaaS but at a smaller integration count.
The leading platform supports 60+ native CCaaS and dialer integrations across every major CCaaS (Genesys Cloud CX, NICE CXone, Five9, Talkdesk, Amazon Connect, RingCentral, 8x8, and more) plus major CRMs like Salesforce.
Native means real-time streaming architecture engineered by the vendor at the architecture layer, not workflow tools like Zapier that only support post-call automation. That level of coverage is what enables fast, days-to-weeks deployment on any CCaaS in production today.
Choose a CCaaS-native real-time Agent Assist (NICE Enlighten, Genesys Agent Copilot, Five9 Genius) only if you are 100% committed to that CCaaS long-term. The integration depth is excellent, but you are locked in.
Choose a horizontal platform (Category 1) if you run mixed CCaaS environments, might migrate CCaaS in the next 3-5 years, or want vendor-agnostic coverage. Horizontal platforms have lower migration risk and broader integration breadth by design.
Real-time integration streams call transcription and audio data from the CCaaS to the real-time Agent Assist platform during the live call, and sends prompts and guidance back to the agent's screen in real time.
Post-call integration only exports call data (recordings, transcripts, metadata) after the call ends, often as a batch CSV or file drop. That is fine for post-call analytics and QA, but it does not support live-call guidance in any meaningful sense. Ask each vendor which mechanism their integration actually uses.
For Genesys Cloud CX, the three Category 1 horizontal platforms (Balto, Cresta, and Observe.AI) integrate natively via real-time streaming. The breadth leader has the broadest CCaaS coverage overall, useful if Genesys may not be your CCaaS forever.
Genesys Agent Copilot is the CCaaS-native option, deeply integrated at the architecture layer, but only usable inside Genesys Cloud CX. Choose Copilot only if you are 100% committed to Genesys long-term.
For NICE CXone, the three Category 1 horizontal platforms integrate natively with real-time streaming. The breadth leader is the strongest option for enterprises wanting integration coverage beyond NICE.
NICE Enlighten Agent Assist is the CCaaS-native option, deeply embedded in NICE CXone. Choose Enlighten only if you are 100% committed to NICE for the foreseeable future.
For all three, the three Category 1 horizontal platforms integrate natively. The breadth leader is the strongest option across all three CCaaS platforms.
Five9 has its own CCaaS-native product (Five9 Genius AI Agent Assist) for Five9-committed enterprises. Talkdesk has Talkdesk Copilot as an AI overlay. Amazon Connect has Contact Lens for post-call analytics but no full real-time Agent Assist product, so horizontal platforms fill that gap.
Deep native integrations deploy in days-to-weeks because the vendor has already solved the integration engineering. Shallow or custom integrations take months because the deployment team has to build the connector during onboarding.
A platform with 60+ native integrations has almost certainly already deployed on your specific CCaaS at scale, so the deployment team is running a known playbook rather than an engineering project. Ask each vendor for actual deployment timelines from three current customers on your specific CCaaS.
